Assumption Hall, Glasgow. A converted church which respects the austere heritage of the building. The musicians facing a line of confessional chambers with their crucifix-shaped windows intact. This somewhat gothic setting is like no other orchestral recording facility, and provided the ideal atmospheric backdrop for this sample instrument. Some of the finest players in the UK courtesy of THE SCOTTISH SESSION ORCHESTRA, were hand-picked to perform on this unique and inspiring noir-ish evocation.
