A "Baritone" ensembles library of Basses, Cellos and Violas but imagine the sound of those being played with bows made of straw, strings made of rusty barbed wire. Imagine if strings behaved like brash brass instruments, a library that disobeyed your musical commands and delivered petulant surprises. We imagined a simpler time, a coarse truth, a raw beauty, searing pain, and cracking fractures.
This library has a raw and distinctive quality where every player can be heard and where, through it's intuitive GUI you can unlock all sorts of hidden secrets and shape the sound around your music, and the picture you are underscoring.
By combining both professional players with improvisational multi instrumentalist string novices we have gathered an ensemble that sounds impulsively un-restrained by classical convention and refinement.

• Rust Longs - Threatening low end with a barbed alto range
• Ashen Longs - Sul tasto with the "Scandi" removed
• Icebreaker Longs - Hyper processed harmonics
• Stormbreaker Longs - Harmonics with tuning software having a panic attack.
• Strikes (loose and looser) - Violent shorts that bark at higher velocities
• Plucks (loose and looser) - Wooden, flammy and cracking at higher velocities.
• Oscillations (2s, 4ths, 8ths, 16ths) - Loose synchronised textures that tighten with crossfade dynamics.
• Breaths (slow and slower) - Beguiling textures with every player working in rhythmic counterpoint.
• Storm Trems (slow and fast) - Accelerating and decelerating tremolando from soft rumbling to pure chaos at higher velocities.
• Arcane Shorts - Distinctive slow attacks that will give brass players a run for their money.
• Gasps (slow and slower, sync'd and natural) - Fearsome drones with sudden gasps that behave more like brass than strings.
