In the lexicon of instruments, timbres and colours available to us there is no sound more potentially terrifying than that of a young voice. As beautiful as it can sound in the right context, when placed against darker subject matter or accompaniment it can become the thing of pure nightmares.
We set about casting a troupe of boys who sang with just the right amount of "beautiful-menace" and the ability to be creative with us in support of an instrument designed by media composers with other media composers in mind.
