At 10% of the population of England, the country it crowns, Scotland punches way above it’s weight with it’s internationally renowned musical exports.
Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland, but a mere 47 miles away is the larger metropolis of Glasgow which is considered very much the music capital. Scotland is a relatively small country of just 5 million people (compared to the 70 million who live in England to the south).
