Our industry is bound by a culture of NDA. Meaning contemporaneous reporting on works-in-progress are largely forbidden. I thought I’d start a journal to document what appeared to me to be an exciting year of commissions, jobs and experiences ahead.
The year being 2022. Still firmly ensconsed in a big old company I had co-founded 15+ years earlier I suspected there may be utility in me logging the struggle of balancing the many commitments that lay ahead. Then, once I was de-shackled from my NDAs I could share my feelings and thoughts as I had them, not as I remembered them.
Little did I know what lay ahead and what a turn things would take. Little did I know how this journal wouldn’t just be a record of a new chapter. But in fact a whole new book. One called Crow Hill.
