This library may not be for everyone. Microtonality, stammering, stuttering, strangulated tones and unpredictability may not be everyone's cup of tea. But if heartbreaking, tragic and profound music you're wanting to write, this may be your cup of teas. We love this, and are proud of creating the most original sound-set to come out of our stable to-date. Whilst working on our Glass Pads plugin we stumbled across a novel new approach to motorising music. But creating unpredictable note modulations we found them forming random arpeggiations that reeked of zeitgeist. In combination with creating what we thought was an essential up-to-the-minute set of un-refined cerebral and intimate pads and drones we set about expanding on this idea of randomness into a dedicated partial we call "Critters" for our most unique synth library too-date. All analogue, all tube, and all wrong, featuring 16 x 3 unique sculpted sounds, made by music makers for music makers with particular mindful consideration to those scoring to picture. You will find here, endless evolving textures that remain firmly under your control and musical instruction. No stray harmonies and a stemmed solution the enables you to control the richness and tonal bandwidth of each note that you play in realtime. We feel that GUIs should not be about setting and forgetting but instead a device that interfaces you with the possibilities of both live performance and/or detailed automation. So that the sounds become sculpted around your music without the need to obediently sculpt your compositions around your sound-set. An essential tool for anyone wanting to deliver ear turning zeitgeist-rich material and when required, music that hold your listeners attention without pulling sonic focus away from dialogue and sound design and other methods of modern story telling.
