After 2 years of ups and downs. Two restarts to get this right and countless visits to properties all over Edinburgh we’re finally turning the key on our home. Our hope is to create a highly creative space working in all forms of media with an open-door policy to anyone interested in making music and sounds. We hope this new HQ will be of service to Edinburgh, Scotland’s Central Belt, the UK and the rest of the world as a destination for anyone willing to adventure into sound, music and media. An inclusive and safe space that will forego the sometimes daunting prospect that surrounds walking into a music college, a recording studio, or post production facility. Instead to supply a safe-house that has an open armed approach to the wonderful opportunity that expression through sound, music and the visuals, content and community that surrounds it.
There will be a series of phases that we will detail in this post so bookmark and check back, whilst subscribing to our YouTube channel. The reason we started vlogging again was to document this new adventure including, and as will all adventures, any adversity we may face undertaking this.
After making the place safe, and doing a bit of wiring and decorating our first port of call will be to move our weekly live workshops in so that we can immediately open our doors to anyone living, working in, or near or indeed just visiting Edinburgh as a place to drop in, have a cuppa and “make nerd” with us all every Wednesday.
